So long, Little Caesar

The votes are tallied, and it appears that DeSalvo's 750 signs voted, plus a couple of hangers on. As of this writing with 100% of the ballots returned, DeSalvo garnered fewer than 800 votes (782), Wong received a whopping 3475 and Donnelly 1231.

Fitchburg has spoken. Move here, make it your home, get involved and treat everyone with respect and dignity and you'll be accepted. Move here and demean our city and our citizens, declare war and we will whomp your ass in the legal and appropriate way - in the voting booth.

This may be a record for a primary election in Fitchburg, with 5536 people voting.

Congratulations, Fitchburg. This is our finest hour in a very long time.

We're rid of the street trash. Now it's time to clean up our city and move forward.

YAHOO! I hoped the people of Fitchburg had some common sense left, and I was right. Bye, bye Ted.
My vote will go to Lisa again in November.

Lisa had my vote tonight and she'll have it again in November.

Sorry Ted. You just didn't beat up enough old men in wheelchairs to win my vote.

Does yesterday's results make this site meaningless?

At least Ted's crew has picked up his signs. There will be a big bonfire somewhere!

We're waiting for a couple of things. a) the removal of all signs. Don't know where you were this morning but as of 2PM today there were tons of TED signs from West Fitchburg to downtown and some still around Ward 4. The car lot on River St. was still proudly displaying signs of all sizes. b) we want to be assured that this crackpot isn't planning to mount a write-in campaign either for mayor or city council.

Once we're satisfied in both regards, the SayNo site will disappear into Internet oblivion.

143 votes in HIS ward, getting 2nd place by 2 votes? Do you really think that he would attempt such a thing?

As he said when Mylott decided not to run, "I think he saw the writing on the wall".

One person who spent most of her day on Main St. at the Senior Center said that he stayed there from 8 to 4, never even visiting other polling places. Not how you run a city wide campaign Ted. I hope the 143 votes were worth it!

Since he isn't supporting either mayoral candiate, I wonder which finalist in Ward 4 will b4e cursed with his "endorsement"?

For all his efforts to distance himself from DeSalvo, Seney spent most of the day Tuesday with Ted.

The rumor is becoming increasingly credible that DeSalvo is mounting a write-in campaign for at-large. As someone pointed out, 782 votes with a bullet is nothing to sneeze at in the at-large race. His competition is not as stiff as the mayoral race.

Seney may disagree with Ted's divisive approach, but I don't think they differ one bit in ideology.

Sans verification we'll withhold comment. But if you come up with something pass it along.

Rachel don't shut down the site! The fireworks are going to be starting, hold on to your fat ass it's going to be a bumpy ride granny!

Just thought I'd let that last one through after informing Rachel, so people can see what this idiot is made of.

This site just might stay up until the new council is sworn in and it doesn't include Mr. Psychobabble.

Take the rest of your shit over to SF, DeSalvo and company. It won't be seen by Rachel and it won't be posted here - gee much like your RESUME!

Cheers

The lady that I spoke with said that other than giving Ted an ice water, she saw no communication between Starr and DeSalvo.

Running on an anti-Ted platform may payoff for him.
